Today we released a few minor changes to the Join form on Poolplayers.com to make it quicker and easier for players to sign up, especially on a phone.
Players follow the same steps, with fewer fields to fill in. We removed: - Mailing address: Street address, city, state, ZIP and county. Country is still on the form. - Home phone: Players now provide just their cell phone number. - Middle initial and marital status. - Verify password: Players enter their password once. Password requirements are the same, and they can reset it by email if needed. Players will still enter a billing address when they pay.
New players joining through this form won't have a mailing address or home phone in their record. That's expected. If you need a player's address, you can ask for it and add it. Players can also add their address and phone number through their profile in Member Services.
Existing addresses and home phone numbers will stay on file, and you can still edit and save player information as usual.
We also updated the Join location list so new locations appear as soon as they're active for the next session.
